Cr2 Steel Forged Roll Sleeve

Cr2 forged‑steel roll sleeves are cylindrical sleeve‑shaped components made of Cr2‑series high‑carbon low‑alloy tool steel substrate through forging process. They are mainly applied in equipments such as cold rolling mills and powder metallurgy briquetting presses, serving as a core working part to perform material deformation and pressure transmission functions.

Maintenance Points

  3. Wear Management: Regular inspection shall be performed on surface hardness and wear loss of roll sleeves, with timely grinding‑repair or replacement as required.

  4. Failure Modes: The main failure modes of roll sleeves are wear, fatigue spalling and cracking. Rolling pressure and speed shall be properly controlled.
