9Cr3Mo is a high-end roll steel specially developed for high-pressure, high-wear resistance, high rigidity, low deformation tendency and easy precision grinding & polishing rolls. It is perfectly suitable for the high-pressure rolling working condition of lithium battery electrode rolls.

3% Cr: Provides strong corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, anti-sticking to electrode sheets, and outstanding hardenability.
Mo: Refines grain structure, resists temper softening, delivers high temperature resistance and thermal fatigue resistance.
3.High rigidity, excellent deformation resistance and deflection resistance, enabling more uniform electrode sheet thickness
Lithium battery roller presses operate under extremely high linear pressure. Conventional rolls are prone to middle bending and thinner ends, resulting in electrode sheet thickness deviation.9Cr3Mo features dense microstructure, high strength, excellent rigidity and low elastic deformation. It shows minimal deflection under high pressure. Combined with roll bending technology, it easily controls the electrode sheet thickness consistency within ±1μm.
4.Excellent dimensional stability with minimal deformation during heat treatment
Easily achieves mirror finish with Ra≤0.02μm.
The molybdenum (Mo) element provides high-temperature tempering resistance, keeping the roll from softening and edge collapse under elevated temperatures.
