Forging and Heat Treatment Process

Forging:Initial forging temperature: 1150–1230℃,Finish forging temperature: ≥850℃,

Heat Treatment:

Quenching: Holding at 870–880℃, followed by water cooling
Tempering: Holding at 600–620℃, followed by air cooling
Purpose: To obtain uniform tempered martensite and achieve an optimal balance of strength and toughness.

Surface Treatment: Nitriding on threads / plasma spraying, to improve wear resistance and anti-galling performance.
