H13 forged steel is currently the standard material for roller cutters of raise boring machines . Its core advantage lies in its excellent adaptability to the harsh working conditions of rock breaking in raise boring, including continuous impact, frictional heat generation, alternating loads and severe abrasion, delivering a well-balanced performance in hardness, toughness, hot hardness and crack resistance.

For raise boring cutters, cylindrical roller bearings are designed for heavy pure radial loads, medium-low speeds and medium-hard rock. Tapered roller bearings are intended for combined heavy radial and axial loads, hard rock, heavy impact conditions, as well as large-diameter and deep boreholes.
Working conditions: Dominated by radial loads with minor axial force, medium impact, medium-low speed; cost performance is prioritized.







A raise boring machine is a large-scale equipment used in mining, water conservancy, hydropower and other projects, mainly for excavating vertical shafts, inclined shafts and ventilation shafts.
Its working principle is as follows: first drill a small-diameter pilot hole, then replace it with a large-diameter roller bit, and ream the shaft to the designed size from bottom to top (or top to bottom).
